Where frustration turned into inspiration

Hi, I’m Walaiphan, the person behind LAIPAN.
The idea for this brand started back when I was a student in South Korea. I once missed a dream-job interview because I couldn’t find my subway card in my bag. It was a tiny moment, but it stuck with me.

When I moved back to Thailand, I kept thinking about how a simple bag could be more organized, more functional and still beautiful. That’s how LAIPAN began.

From idea to first sketches

I first started with a simple tote bag something I needed as a corporate girly starting my first job. But soon the idea started to grow. My mom, my grandmother and even my in-laws in Belgium all told me the same thing: they needed a good crossbody bag.

I took inspiration from my grandmother’s old crossbody bag that she’s used for over a decade, combined it with real customer feedback, and that became my second creation the LAIPAN crossbody bag.

Designed by women, for women

In 2024, LAIPAN had its soft launch. Every customer, every review, and every idea helped improve the bags: smarter compartments, smoother zippers, and more comfortable straps. This way, each bag evolved into something more personal, more functional, and more thoughtful.
